do not delete the 8 series link as we do not yet know for sure about the new fluid colour until somebody actually looks at stuff in a bmw workshop.
a tech i spoke with reckons there is some green / blue fluid for transmissions , he just did not bother looking to confirm .

i shall of course change the filter with fluid .
lot`s of great help and advice here and another thread called lazy mans tranny fluid maintenance , but i still would like confirmation on new fluid colour.
