Sorry for the late post, I haven't been able to access the net for the last while, grrrr...
Thanks for the string of great opinions, here's what I've decided based on everyones informative advice:
20" Style 132s (
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/20-I...011657912QQrdZ1 )
Front: 9.5"/ 45mm offset - 295/40/20 Toyo Proxes S/T
Rear: 10.5"/ 30mm offset - 295/40/20 Toyo Proxes S/T
- no chrome
self justification:
-I know the style 87s are more popular yet most can agree to the 132s coming a close second. After going to the stealers to look at the oem 19" 132s, I found I really like the 'updated' look of the rim and it's 'current' more rounded lines even compared to the 4.8is style 168s
-I'm hoping the 20" version of the 132s will be noticably different from the 19" ie. larger looking overall and the rears having a more 'concave' look to them. But I agree, upon first look most afficionados will think they're the 19s. This somewhat bothers me as we all know there are no real 20" 132 oems. I'm hoping the compromise is worth it.
-Both front and rears have a more negative offset in the 20" 132 version (45/30 vs 48/48), this should prevent the front 295s from rubbing the strut.
-295/40/20s all around because it's the closest to my current stock overall diameter (+6.35mm compared to stock 255/55/18), they're front and rear balanced, and a tiny bit better in the snow than 315s
-finally 295s stretched out over 10.5" coupled with +30 rear offset should still give a staggered appearance.
See any flaws in my logic? By the way, does anyone have a favourite Lakeshore Wheels sales rep?
