Agree with Asawadude...waiting for more apps, plus heard on the streets and on WSJ that Palm Pre will be on Verizon by Jan 2010!

I believe AT&T will also get a webOS device...first Palm Eos, then later Palm Pre. Anyhow, if you get the Touchstone, it comes with the matte black, soft touch "grippy" battery cover which makes it feel less plasticky. Also, you can get the matte battery cover for $20 by itself if you don't want the Touchstone.
I noticed that the Palm Pre accessories are cheaper at
PreCentral.net | all things Palm Pre (I have no monetary affilation with that website). Touchstone + battery cover is retail $70, but at
PreCentral.net | all things Palm Pre acessories store, it's for $50. Also, Seidio is releasing a 1350 mAh extended standard size battery for the Palm Pre. I already have the same battery on my Centro and it does extend life about 15% or so.
I noticed the apps are coming along and now that people are able to get into the developer's mode on webOS, the Palm Pre OS is definitely more open than the iPhone. Hopefully Palm will release the SDK very soon.
I think Palm webOS has a bright future, especially now Jon Rubinstein is now the new Palm CEO!
