In the Philippines, my x5 is being maintained by an Indie repair shop but very good compared to dealers mechanic and is dealing only on high end cars. This Indie repair man has close ties with one of the dealers here and almost all of the parts are coming from this dealer. The service fee is good much much lower than dealer's, because normally dealer's here don't repair but they change the whole unit just like the last time that I have a leak on my brake hose, one dealer quoted me the whole brake master assembly which is more than P50,000.00, my Indie referred me to another dealer and it only cost me P7,000.00. BTW, I will get this IC through e-bay which is US$105 shipped within USA plus my shipping cost to the Philippines which will cost me P2000 plus. Thanks for the advice guys!
