Check the vacuum hose to the valve, they are common to crack.

Dear The Cleaner,
2001 X5 3.0i -- I went to autozone for the obd check, the error code was p0492. I was replace the second air valve and the pressure hose. The SES light was gone for 3 days. And then I went back to autozone for the obd chech again. it still showing the error code p0492 even the SES light is not on. Why is it? Do I have to clear the error code before take it back to autozone for recheck? Does it clear by itself?
Please advise
Thank you
