What we are trying to establish is that the 6NF is actually a different base plate that the cradle pushes into. This base plate hooks into the USB port that is in the centre compartment (6FL) thus allowing the iPod part of the iPhone to use the cradle for music.
That's why there is two different iPhone cradles available to suit the two types of base plates. What we need is a diagram and or part numbers of these two different base plates not the cradle parts as we know those part numbers.
Smartphone intergration (6NF) is only a $150 option so I believe getting this base plate could be a easy retro-fit!
