That Griffin adaper thing could work if you wanted to install an extra power outlet in the center console, if you've upgraded or already have the deeper console pocket. I've still got the 6 disc cd holder and change holder, so it's not an option for me at the moment. You can grab an extra power/cigarete lighter kit from WalMart for like $4, comes w/ the wires, taps and everything needed. Simply tap it into the existing power outlet that is in the backseat area, and you're done. The ONLY thing that would make installing a power outlet in the center console hard is fishing the wires to the front of the console since it'll have to be oriented under the cupholders. The ducting for the rear heater vents is in the way of installing it in the rear of the console, and the sides aren't deep enough to house the new outlet. Once I figure out where to order the deeper center console, i'll post pics once I get it done.

I did this in my work truck, one for the cellphone charger (constant) and the other outlet is for my minicooler switched ignition shared w/ the radio).

Someone also extended the cord and put the aux input into their sunglass holder, so they can tuck the wires away all neatly. It'd definately be more work, but it's a cool idea. I personally need a charger since I use my phone to stream online music, so I need the power outlet.
