Is it a BMW dealer? If not, I'd tell them to knock 5 grand off that and deal from there. It'll be easy to see where they're coming from if they laugh at you or the salesman needs to "talk to the manager about it". Tis the season for Stealers to raise prices, holidays and 4wheel/all wheel drives are tagged premium in winter, but the price is about market average for an 02 4.6.
I dunno if you've ever read
this, but it'll open your eyes to what happens on the other side of the dealership when you go to buy a car.
