Then who if not Katherine? It is reported that Michael didn't leave anything to Joe in his will. Maybe he had provisions that limits Joe's contact with the kids. Grandparents do not have any legal rights to visitation anyway. Debbie Rowe does not want them, the donor was anonymous.
MJ and Debbie Rowe were married when she was artificially inseminated. The husband of the wife is presumed to be the father. Therefore, MJ is the father of Prince and Paris... no adoption necessary. Blanket was born via surrogate, and I don not know if he was adopted, but I am pretty sure he was.
