And whom exactly was he irrelevant to, you? Certainly not me. In just about every bit of production work i've done in my lifetime and within the same 10 year period, i've taken, borrowed, stolen so many concepts from him it's impossible to name and number.
What's creepy may be the parents pushing their children on to him and letting their children sleepover a strangers home. What exactly are you digging for? For me to agree with you that he was weird? We all have our own shortcomings and idiosyncrasies...MJ's just happened to play out in the public eye.
If his so-called "wackoness" is what give him such godly talent, then i also want to be weird and "wacko"

I am not sure who coined the term Wack-Jacko, but it sure stuck, everyone knows it and there is definately some truth to it. I mean, come on chilli...Elephant Man bones, pet chimps, amusement park in his back yard, plastic surgery out a$$, faked heterosexual relationships (and kisses on TV), strange sleep overs with kids, naming his own kid Blanket, dangling his child off of a balcony, showing up to court in pajamas, etc. The wacko list goes on and on, but you are chosing to to admit that for some reason. Yes, we all have our shortcomings and idiosyncrasies, but come on. He had WAY more than the average guy. It is blatantly obvious that you are not going to admit this for some reason and it is almost comical now.
I agree with you that the parents were idiots for allowing their kids to stay, but IMO, if you don't think that a 40-year old man having sleepovers with children in the same bed and/or room isn't creepy, then you either A) can't take of the blinders or B) are creepy yourself.
