The first sign of something going wrong was a continious warning from the parking sensor system although I was driving with plenty clearing to the rest of the world. But this problem only occured once, and did never come back. This happened around 18 months ago.
A month or two later I had the first 4X4 warning. It popped up after a coffee brake under a drive on rugged winter roads, followed me back home, but went away next day.
Then, a month later I had a long trip to Sweden, driving hard on on rugged and icy roads for several hours. The next days I had all kind of warnings coming and going, and the failsafe programs took control and made the car unpleasant to drive.
In february I went to the dealer who read the memory, found errors on all indicators, concluded on a periodic error and something jamming the canbus and reset the memory twice. I don't know for sure what error codes the found, according to the receipt it was the whole total.
Anyway I got the car back with no errors, and was again a happy X5-owner although they took well paid.
In the middle of May I went to Sweden for Service 1 and change of brake pads. 1200 km with pure joyride, and a nice price service compared to Norwegian normal.
But a couple of weeks ago I got it all back

I don't trust the dealer to be able to find the problem so I'll do my best to solve the shit myself, with some help from you guys
