Thanks man, more like desperate. I couldn't pass inspection with an SES, even though it was a bogus oil temp code. I swapped the sensor and got nowhere, so there was only one thing left to do and it was
not pay the dealer $1700+ for some wires. I left the replacement temp sensor in, and it works fine. I'll try to put this into a coherent process with pics this weekend.
