Actually, I'm not a Palm evangelist as much as SG is an Apple Fanboi (for obvious reasons)

SG and Sunil and Barry, just to set the record straight...have tons of stock in APPL, love most of their products and including the iPhone. I endure using a PC with Windows @ work, but ENJOY using OS X, 10.5.7 on my Mac at home. Bought the 1st gen iPod at the first Apple Store in SoCal the first week it came out...still have iPod video, Time Capsule, etc.

Not every Apple product has been a hit (e.g. Apple TV). However, my biggest beef with the iPhone is that it doesn't have a physical keyboard and that it is only available on AT&T. The Palm Pre is far from perfect and I wasn't comparing the two device on this thread.

My bro-in-law wanted a new smartphone and based on his needs, I suggest a new iPhone 3GS!!! However, he had to get another one because because it kept on overheating. So, I brought up this issue for a FYI and for personal safety reason.

I also noticed my friend's Palm Pre running hot when you do processor intensive things and yes the Palm Pre also has a 600MHz processor. Something about those 600MHz processors...

Now, I predict and big hit from RIM with the release of the Blackberry Tour on both Verizon, Sprint, and Alltel networks!! Just you see....

Okay, now let's all have a group hug!

P.S. I agree I like to stir the pot!
