Yes I agree. I think the best method is using POIsON and own POIs.

In the italian forum there is also another procedure that requires to split the DB files in 50.000.000(million) byte pieces. Then you have 40 pieces for db_0 and 28 (if I remember correctly) for DB_1. Then you have to replace the first piece of both (DB_0.001 and DB_1.001) with the one that is provided.
