I bought my X5 35d at the end of May and was able to wrangle $7,600 off MSRP ($67k) and 2.9% 60/month financing BEFORE this current offering of $4,500 from BMW.

I suspect the dealer would have balked at giving me ANY of the $4,500 incentive; even though it would have been BMW money and not dealer money.

So, if BMW dealerships only take $4,500 off current MSRP, does that mean someone would actually be paying sticker (as far as the dealer is concerned)?? Wouldn't that be nice for the stealership??
