Here is the 2004-2006 Headlight/xeon adjustment thread.
I couldn't find the previous thread that provided this info.
I already knew about the two white adjustment screws
on each light assembly. I even knew where they were.
But we use to have more detailed instructions regarding
the adjustment process including the function of each screw
and the direction each should be turned.
I did a search in the Index of /pdf/e53 but didn't find it.
I must be using the wrong search perimeters because
I'm not seeing the thread that provided the accurate
information i've seen in the past.
So I went to the indy and looked in the service book.
The white knobs closest to the radiator will raise the lamps
up if you turn them counter clockwise. And down clockwise.
There are other conditions for making the adjustment as
well. Three of those conditions were a tank full of fuel,
proper air pressure and at least one person seated
in the vehicle.
How much up or down or what the factory spec was
in measurement was not specified.
The other Knobs are for lateral adjustment.
