I can agree with you on the 5-series GT and the X6, but I bet you the new 5-series is going to be a great looking car. The only thing really ugly about the GT is the profile (because of the rear) and the rear. The front looks pretty good. Wait on the new 5 before you judge it.

I disagree with you on the X1. I think it is a really good looking SUV/SAV/crossover (whatever it is). I already see myself picking up a pre-owned one for my wife in a few years when our X has aged a little more.

Bangle actually designed some pretty good looking cars. There were a few misses, IMO, but many more were hits. Plus MB and others dogged the Bangle-Butt then copied the hell out of it, so he must have been doing something right.
