So, basically it would even-out the pulses, smoothing out the flow-rate and soften the sound. This could be good then; I'm wanting to remove the big 7 AND A HALF KILO (EEK!), resonator to improve sound and remind me i'm driving a V8 (hehe, yeah i'm a big kid

), but I don't want it to sound too raspy. But I'm hoping now that an x-pipe won't also detract too much of that "regained V8 music". Otherwise I'll then have to look into new mufflers too.
