Just wondering what people's feedback is on the long term effects of the clear protective covering.

1. Though doing a great job with protecting the paint of the car, wouldn't this make it look funny years (ie: 5+) down the road? The part that is protected still looks nice, while the other parts more faded? Doesn't paint discolor to some extent regardless of how well it is maintained with washing, waxing and all the goodies?

2. And how does the the protective covering look when it is washed and waxed? Will it still produce good shine or does it look different from the rest of the car?
