One I found...

To Whom It May Concern:

Just a word or two to voice my humble opinion about the current move to redesign health care in this country.

I can't think of a worse time, maybe since the Great Depression, to make a move like this. Clearly the country as a whole is close to bankruptcy.

When I see ideas to pay for everyone’s healthcare with raising taxes from high income brackets to taxing Cokes, I couldn't be more upset. There seems to be nothing about this redesign that won't cost in the trillions and with no guarantee that coverage will be complete or won't be more expensive than it is now.

With the economy like it is, people living on shoestrings, could the timing be worse?
I don't logically believe that as things are, the turnip could give anymore blood. How could anyone stand any raised taxes for any service, no matter how much they need it, at this time? I am deeply worried that this proposal could well be the last straw for most in this country, at least from a monetary standpoint.

When we are bailing out banks, carmakers, finance corporations and most Americans are already in debt to the maximum, where will the money come from? I truly believe there is no more money that we as the public can spare.

The government has my Medicare and my Social Security money. Where is that? Let me have it back and I'll get my own insurance and retirement needs met. I don't want to have to go to the County hospital for my care. However I believe with the government in charge it will take my money and I will get what they give with no choice.
This is America, I want a choice.

I don't want a change now. Just leave me be and come to me at a more appropriate time. Have the compassion not to pile it all on, one catastrophe after another.

No change for now thank you.

Respectfully,
