I'm replacing shocks on my '01 4.4 sports package with rear air suspension. According to Bilstein, they do not make shocks that fit the rear air suspension X5. The part # F4-BE5-A744-HO shows up on their website as 'not for self-leveling suspension', and this was confirmed by a phone call to Bilstein.
What gives, has anyone put Bilsteins on the rear axle of a X5 with rear air suspension?
