Everyone knows that some kind of reform is needed. However, more government can rarely solve a problem. In most cases, less government regulations and meddling would lower costs.
And as Wagner says, there is absolutely nothing wrong with the quality of care in the US. I have access to some of the best hospitals in the world being in the NYC area. The list of quality facilities around the US goes on and on. I don't have the richest plan, but I know that if I needed surgery, I would be able to get one fast. I don't want the quality of my care to go down because the government decided to get in the way. It's the costs that are the problem, and this bill only increases those.
