Some SOB who I hope will rot in hell dumped five puppies near the house we're building. We just happened to be driving around the neighborhood, and saw some people setting up a crate to temporarily house the puppies. (They all had at least two dogs, and could not adopt them.) Anyway, we fell in love with this little cutie, and brought her home. She was very shy and afraid. She was also the smallest -- the runt of the litter. Liz held her for a few minutes and the rest was history.
We think she has some beagle in her (look at those ears), and probably some rottweiler?
A neighbor says she's beagle/dachshund. What do you guys think?
Anyway, we won't be getting much sleep for the next few weeks, but, it's all worth it.
