Yeah. Drilling the brake pad was a pain. After breaking 1 bit, I used my smallest bit to make the initial hole, then used progressive larger bits to enlarge that hole to the right size.

Thats the method i used . That should be the only way to bore a hole through that metal . My Titanium drill bits were just no match
