I was in Seattle last week at a hotel where a blind man was trying to make his way through a group of about 8 men in a lobby. His disabled wife in an electric wheel chair was trying to guide her blind and cripple husband to an empty chair about 10 feet away through the guys standing around just watching and not moving. These were well dressed younger business men acting hip and cool. I was holding my bags my wifes bags and a car-seat at the check-in counter across the room in disbelief. I dropped my bags and rushed over to help the man into the lone empty seat all the time thinking how pathetic things have become when simple decency has taken a back seat with our younger generation. I'm only 43...
