that is exactly why they are priced where they are - expensive to repair has a big impact on resale values as vehicles get older. But if you are willing to live with that, or can do much of the work yourself, you can get outstanding vehicles for pennies on the dollar. I just picked up a 4.6is for under 25% of the original MSRP and it looks and drives like a new one.
