I've read a few reviews, but it's not for me; my old Canon S50 does
fine for close in and quick shooting with very good color and image
capture, for a "pocket". I am not after a new pocket; next up is
a new DSLR, either Canon or Nikon, or maybe just a new lens or
two for my budget KonicaMinolta 5D, which is no slouch for the
stuff I shoot.

I was perusing DPReivew and am amazed at the models Canon has;
makes the ol'General Motors look focused, no pun. I was going
blind trying to differentiate the subtle differences between the plethora
of models. Image capture capability is still the deal, imo...12 meg of
pixels, etc., is not the chase.

That sx200 has a loooonngg focal length, maybe no necessary, but
decent macro.

I'm with SanGuru: what do you want/need in a new cam that your
current cam isn't giving you? I recall you bought a decent semi-pocket
Canon a couple years ago and I don't recall your pics sucking. So...
just the urge or are there some features that grab you?
