My 2 cents (not to start a fight) is that it costs everyone that buys insurance if you allow your insurance company to pay 1000 dollars for stuff that should cost less than half that amount. Its not free money. Its wrong to let venders rip off the system just because it does not come out of your pocket. Just like its wrong for insurers to deny you coverage for things that you buy insurance for!
