I realize that he didn't kill a human, that's not what I'm basing my opinion of him on. Does he deserve a 2nd chance? Sure, in this situation, yes, everyone should be allowed to make a living, and he's paid his dues in jail. But 2nd chances notwithstanding, IMO, he's a piece of shit. Defending the defenseless and having compassion/empathy for animals who are tortured is 2nd nature to most, just because Vick has paid his penance doesn't mean I or anyone else has to forgive and forget, nor change our opinion of his character. It's about the person, not the football player.
