My brake warning came on right after my warranty period. The dealer said they would give me a good price for the extended maintenance, but never got back to me. I was able to get my brakes and rotors changed for about $800 (all oem), so it's a question of whether everything else that is covered will cost you more than $1700 (or $1100 if you get it from Macon BMW) over the next 2 years. In my case, I didn't think it would since I had the dealer check the car out before my warranty was up and they changed the belts and fixed the other issues I had.
