Michelin MXV4 vs. Latitudes

I have a 2004 4.4. My current ContiContacs are worn and I believe are responsible for most of the droaning noise I am hearing. My original equipment MXV4's were super quiet although not the greatest handling tires that is why I switched to the significantly better handling Continentals but they had less than half the wear and became very noisy (V rated). I drive mostly highway anyway and I got significantly better MPG's with the MXV4's . Another forum member here recommended the Michelin Latitudes and when I spoke to my local DiscountTire rep he also recommended the Latitudes, H rated as are the MXV's. I was ready to order the Latitudes which surprisingly were one dollar cheaper than the MXV's per tire when I read the driver reviews on their website. Many complained about excessive noise and roar with these tires although almost all of these were from MB SUV owners. That is exactly what I am trying to get away from. My local dealer has both tires in stock in my size and I was going to get them installed today. Any input to help with my decision would be appreciated. Thank you.
