I actually think the Money Factor on the X5M is going to be higher. It's a new vehicle.
But I also think the Residual will be higher.

Think of it like this.. If a lot of dealers are sitting on 2008 M5's, and they are discounting those vehicles to $10,000 below invoice than that drags down the residual value of all M5's. So a 55% residual on a new M5 is reflecting the fact that 2009 and 2008 M5's are still sitting on lots, depreciating the value of the new cars and bringing the residual down.

Since that problem doesn't exist with the X5M yet, my guess is BMW will try to keep the residual high to keep monthly payments low..
