I had one, too, that I had on my '01 e53 when I bought it new--which I still have at 90K miles and nothing has really gone wrong with it that would have been covered except 2 window regulators, a control arm and recent water pump. The warranty company was nothing but a headache--based out of SoCal. They once had mine at the dealer for 2 WEEKS for a small repair because they would just place phone tag with my service advisor. I always buy new and drive them 8-9 years and keep them maintained (now that the warranty is 4 years that helps a lot). If I were to go used I would go CPO or go home
