I have never confirmed that the "30 second reset" actually resets any transmission adaptations... it may even be the throttle adaptations it resets. I would just need time to have my truck in the shop, read the adaptation values, do the reset and read again to see if they were reset.

And unplugging the batter does nothing for adaptations as the codes are written into the ECU's memory...
