Well, I didn't respond since I didn't meet the age 30 cutoff, but since others have chimed in....

49, and I like to cook, but I prefer to cook big productions and get tired of the day to day grind of cooking for one or two, figuring out what to have, etc. I usually cook weekends for my wife. She covers the weekdays. Everything is from scratch (sauces, stuffings, breads, pizza, desserts, etc) and prepared food is just not considered, primarily from a health perspective.

I travel a lot for work at times, and see a lot of average restaurants and room service, so what I really want to do when I get home is have a home-cooked meal. Of course, my wife just wants to get out of the house. We go out on those occasions. Apart from that, we eat at home a lot.

Clean up is always done as we go, just at Chef puts it. My wife is the OC one, but she trained me well.
