Is that the Axxis ULT Ceramic pad? If so, it isn't known as a quiet pad, but rather one that will have noise. The quiet Axxis pad is the Deluxe.

How were the rotors shipped? Any protective coating on the friction surface that you had to remove? What is the surface finish like on a PBR rotor?

Did you install the anti-vibration clips properly?

Did you clean up the slides on the calipers where they contact the pads?

I wouldn't put high temperature grease on the back of the pad, just on the ears where they contact the caliper. If you mean the goop that sets, it is designed for the back of the pad (works as an insulator) but doesn't go on the ears.

Have you done many brake jobs previously?
