Hay Caramba! Let's put this thread to bed . Here is a picture of the BMW load space divider that I had in my X5. I used it to keep my dog in the back. Please look carefully and notice where the divider is attached at the top corners into the recesses that are exposed when you slide those plastic covers back. The divider is very expensive, but extremely well engineered. Best to buy one used IMHO.
