The Intravee now works with the DHA-S690. This is what It can/can't do:
- Gives full display, control and search of Audio CD's and MP3 CD/DVD's just like the CHA-S634, just with upto 8.5Gb discs instead of 800Mb.
- Allows opperation through an AI-Net switch.
- Allows playback of DVD's and Video CD's with video through the AV input on the TV.
- Allows basic control of DVD's (Play/Pause, Next, Prev).
- Switches the audio so it's possible to get Stereo audio while using the TV AV input (usually mono).
- Requires the IR remote for full DVD Navigation.
This is actually better control and display capabilities than the top of the range Alpine double DIN head units. They can't search MP3 discs by file or folder, they can't control DVD playback at all and can't connect to the DHA-S690 via a switch.
