Seasonal influenze---meh. I have only gotten the yearly flu vaccine once in my life, and usually ignore it. Will I get it this year? No.

H1N1---Hell yeah! I am not only going to get that vaccine, I am going to have my family get it, as well. My son has asthma, and so he meets a high-risk group criterion. I am a physician treating those patients, constantly exposed, so I will get the vaccine, too.

Why the difference in my attitude about "seaonsal flu" vs "swine flu"? Because this year, the seasonal flu seems TO BE the H1N1 version. It is more virulent, and could be very problematic. I would rather simply not get sick.
