Or maybe it's your imagination! My own personal studies have shown that whenever I wash the car and especialy when I wax and detail it, it rides smoother, quieter and goes a bit faster with less pressure on the go pedal.

When it's dirty, it's not so fast and rides crappier. Is it me or the car? Then there's the pull of the task I have to do that wears on me every day, possibly affecting my job performance and relationship with my mate. And of course there's the sociological impact, what will other BMW owneres think of me? Am I not worthy to own this car? Is it possible that there are overseers who will take it away because I fail to keep it clean?
