Goto to Bear Mountain, just before it though is a traffic circle. At that circle is Bear Mountain Park to the right, The Bear Mountain Bridge to the center, and 9W north to the center-right. Travel up 9W north...motels, hotels, etc... are along that route. In fact, keep traveling up 9W and you will get to West Point - also a great day trip.
