BMW design are so futuristic, they last long. That's why when a new model hits the market, people tend to be reluctant at first: it takes us a while to get used to it and see the beauty of it. but once we do, the magic lasts for years and years....

I remember when the E53 was released: I hated it! I said ok, it's a 5 series station wagon waised 10cm... but now i am ready to argue for hours that the E53 is an Icon in the cars world and an artistic beauty inside out... sometimes i spend few minutes just looking at it and appreciating it's design and posture... It's a Masterpiece!

The X6, again, was hideous to look at when i first saw it... but now i see a beautiful manly beast...

About the E70, well, it's been more than 2 years... I think it's time to get used to it. To tell you the truth, I still don't like it much... I plan to get one after the E53, but it won't be a love story like it is with my E53... I think BMW screwed up with the E70 design wise...
