Thanks ALL for the suggestions...CV joints is a good one and noted. I'm not worried so much about tire wear as that is a 'normal wear' item. Its more things like the above-mentioned CV joints.

The Carfax has me a bit baffled as it shows some electrical issues with the first owner. I don't want to speculate though because who knows what that means, and it didn't happen after the first owner. This might be a good time to run the VIN as tasosx5 wisely suggested...

The rear-end collision seems consisted with the paint analysis done by the seller (a nice guy with a German accent).
