I remember the first 4.6is I owned for all of six weeks, we were driving into town and I had reset the mpg indicator. I was getting 16mpg. I stomped on the accelerator and literally watched it drop from 16 to 15 to 14 mpg in about 1/4 of a mile! Freaked me out.
