Just a heads up, BMW rotors are on the thin side to begin with for weight savings. Typically places won't turn them after you have driven enough to go through a set of pads because they will either be to thin at that point, or won't be in-spec for the duration of the new pads life. Therefore, it is good practice to change the rotors when you change pads. If you were having metal to metal contact, that is even more reason to change out the rotors. Do your rotors have grooves on them from the metal on metal contact?
