Awesome write-up. How did that sub work out for you in such a small enclosure? I've got a single 8 in something about that size, and it definately leaves more to be desired. I've been following along w/ ZeroChief's 10" box that is a very close duplicate of what BSW makes in dimensions, then uses a Pioneer shallow sub. Have you considered remaking your box for more volume or does that Kicker sound good in that enclosure?
BTW - love the bezel idea w/ the bass knob, but $250 is steep for a chunk of plastic  . What does the other knob do, or is it just for uniformity.
