I wouldn't worry. Lots of folks on this forum ordered at about the same time and their X5s are already built --- BUT they can't touch them yet. They're in limbo waiting on a blessing. Yours will probably show up at the dealer pretty soon after theirs do.
BTW in the next few days we are either going to be reading joyous posts of new 2010 35d owners who finally took delivery or wailing a gnashing of teeth by those forming a lynch mob to storm BMW NA head quarters looking for blood or both
