I agree with LeMansX5 there, LCD would probably be the best choice. I've seen the pictures of your mountain house and you
definitely have some huge windows! (Love your pics BTW) Reflection would be the biggest drawback with a plasma. Even with the anti-reflective coatings that have been added to plasma's lately the LCD's still hold the lead in non-reflectivity.
