Here are the specs for the Kicker sub 8" L5
Min Rec Sealed Box Volume (CU. FT., Liters).33, 9.4Max Rec Sealed Box Volume (CU. FT., Liters).75, 21.2
Min Sealed Box = .33 cubic feet
Max Sealed Box = .75 cubic feet

As for the bezel I know it is expensive but I do have to argue it. I do not have any ties to the seller but I will have to admit that it is very good quality. It is made of ABS plastic and its much thicker and harder to the touch than I expected. I thought it would be flimsy but I was wrong and it looks very stock. The stock look was necessary for me since I sometimes park the car in less desirable areas.

Almost everyone who got in the car did not notice that the radio was not stock. Funny how everyone comments on how good the ipod integration was on the BMW. LOL.

The second knob has a rotary switch attached behind it and its connected to switch the headrest monitor on/off.

Im looking into either the L5 8" in a Zerochief style .45 cu/ft box, or maybe even adding a little more to the face of his enclosure to make it around .70 and using the L5 10". The L5 being DVC is also nice since I have the perfect monoblock amp to power it.

I just can't decide if I wanna stick w/ the 8" in the smaller enclosure and not deal w/ the extra work needed to customize it myself, or go bigger. Going bigger would make for a louder sub one would naturally assume, but then i'm also stuck the idea of going w/ larger enclosure and using the 8" (min .33) to give it more breathing room or go w/ the 10" (min .65) and get as much cone as possible.

What made you decide to choose the L5 over say the Pioneer shallow everyone has used?
