I don't let them drill my plates.. No way, no how. And while it's not uncommon to to get a ticket for not having a front plate, I'd rather pay that stupid ticket then give an officer a big medal target on the front of my car for his laser.

I'd say, I get a no front plate ticket about once every year or two. It's worth it to pay it and not keep on the plate. They don't pull you over for not having front plates.. At least not in my experience. And it reduces the chances they can catch you for photo red light, which is unconstitutional to begin with.. Damn the man.
